Creating Pangea [Sunday November 30th 2014]

I am editing chapter 8 of my first Pangea novel today. I’ll share a little portion. I’ve posted this stanza before but this provides just the tiniest amount of context. I hope it doesn’t spoil too much!

Despite agreeing to go, Osenu’s Hall is also a mystery to me. I first recalled its mention in a ballad that my people sing to commemorate the coming of Spring. I found myself whispering the words now as I recalled them,

“Where the sacred rivers meet ,

Beneath the shelter of the keeper of all things.

There lies the hall of the beginning,

The ruler of the world before the Kings.”
