Monday’s tip: You can use outside conflict to cause an inside conflict with one of your character. For instance, death can cause your character to express doubt, reassess life goals, develop a desire for revenge etc.

In Pangea, I use external circumstances to drive the character development of Idris. How he responds to friendship, love and death reveal a great deal about him.
